isn’t it amazing how tech rehearsals are all about the two things not working rather than the hundreds of fabulous things you’ve spent months building?

pete’s in great form and we’re ready to roll this one out. great preview with fab input from our a.d. consultant kirim saeed (“warn guide dog users about the spaghetti”) and bsl consultant deepa shastra. zane hema, our accomplished and devoted bsl interpreter, went off to homerton hospital to have his leg set in plaster after the dress rehearsal, but made it back in time for 7:30 preview. please, zane, no more gymnastics, at least til after 8 Dec.

the irish sea is calling. spicer assures me it will be calm, she can tell cuz she’s from brighton. note to self: stop at boots on the way to liverpool for motion sickness tablets. who knows, i could make some money on this tour after all!
